Breathing Basics
Limited Capacity seats available

Breathing is, of course, a central pillar of asana, pranayama, and meditation practices. Come learn the anatomy and mechanics of breathing, how to distinguish normal from abnormal breathing patterns, and how to refine your breath awareness and control for asana and relaxation practices. Then we’ll apply this knowledge to beginning pranayama techniques.

Discussion Time: 90 minutes
Practice Time: 90 minutes
Physical Exertion: Low to Moderate
Recommended Props: Yoga mat, 1 blanket, and 1 strap.
Continuing Education: 3 hours
