Psoas & Hip Flexors FILLING

The psoas is a mysterious but vitally important muscle that connects the leg to the torso. We’ll look at its anatomy, study how it effects posture & practice yoga poses that strengthen & stretch it.

We’ll look at its anatomy, and that of the other adjacent hip flexors, and study how they affect posture. Then we’ll practice poses that strengthen and stretch them.

Discussion Time: 60 minutes
Practice Time: 60 minutes
Physical Exertion: Moderate
Recommended Props: Yoga mat, 1 blanket, and 1 strap
Continuing Education: 2 hours
